As with every other type of drawing in Technology and Design, you use a pencil. A black, graphite pencil. This is because it allows you to rub out any lines which were incorrect or were only drawn to guide you on how to draw something else more permanent. This is a must for every pupil.
ruler
A ruler is necessary in the area of orthoraphic drawing for two reasons:
The user will often be working with different scales and this may require the user to measure certain lengths.
Often there will be times where a long, faint straight line needs drawn on a page.
rubber
Essential. Used not only if you make a mistake while drawing, but also to rub out guide lines which you will learn more about during the exploration of this website.
Attention
This area of the curriculum can be difficult at times, and you will need to listen to the teacher at all times in order to understand it. Focus and respond and you'll be fine!
If you want to learn, you will always find someone to learn from, be they dead or alive, great or unknown. You learn from everything you see and hear around you - if you are willing to pay attention. - Alexander Volkov
