first and third angle projection
There are two different types of projection - first angle and third angle.
These refer to the layout which you choose to display your orthographic drawings:

As you can see from the images above, the only difference between first and third angle projection is the layout of the drawings. Third angle projection is the more common of the two layouts.
Hidden detail
This is the final piece of information you will need to know on orthographic drawing. Sometimes detail on a drawing cannot be displayed on some views. Dashed lines are used in this scenario. An example of this can be seen below.
